I think if you leverage existing blogging networks such as tumblr or wordpress that you will have a much faster user growth rate. These platforms have beautiful user interfaces that many are already adapted too. I love the idea and think it has legs, just think it needs to be refined, branded, and to leverage existing blogging platforms.

We will be providing access to HG features including match messages via SMS text messaging in the next release (summer 2010). Users will be able to signup, login, mark location and set privacy/radius via sms messaging. Users will be able to send public match messages which appear on the HG map and private messages which do not appear on the HG map. Users will be able to find other users by location/topic.

HG will be providing a limited mobile web page for use with mobile handset browsers. There will be NO map with the first release but users will be able to add data, match messages with other users and browse hg by location/topic

when autoresponder originates from twitter HG needs to enable comments as default so users can exchange comments

The current HG software has NO html capability. In the next release we will be adding a HTML formatting module that will allow user to add images, links and format text using HTML editor. This editor is similar to HTML editors in other blog software where you select text and click on button to format text or insert link or image.

when using the RTV Status Update, I posted a long over 140 characters with a url in the text. When I go to the MORE button in the RTV it takes me to the map page BUT THE TEXT IS MISSING FROM THE POST.This is either a bug with update status OR a url in the post is causing the text to go blank
